About Beth…

I have had a life-long passion for art, and so during my high school days I happily did my A levels in Art and Art history and excelled. After my studies, I continued to be involved in the arts by consciously selecting careers that would allow me to utilise my artistic skills.

Over the years I have experimented with watercolour, oil, mixed media and etchings. My explorations in a wide variety of mediums led me to working under the tutelage of Greg Kerr for a number of years with oils being the primary medium.

While living in Spain for a number of years, I was lucky enough to be able to participant in ongoing group exhibitions at a nearby resort, and subsequently have received commissions from clients in the U.K. Spain, Italy, U.S.A. and New Zealand.

More recently I have discovered the brilliance of mono printing thanks to the guidance and teaching of Elaine Hirschowitz (an experienced pyscho-analytist and occupational therapist, divorce mediator and an extremely talented artist in her own right) at Artists Print Studio in Newtown, Johannesburg. Over the last few years I have exhibited at a variety of group and solo exhibitions.

Another aspect of my personality, and one that I’m also very passionate about, is that I’m an I.C.F accredited coach and have had the opportunity to coach individuals, facilitate group conversations and many team building sessions. Through the years I’ve trained over 700 individuals in thinking skills and personal mastery disciplines.

I have facilitated as far afield as Liberia where I have co-facilitated a week long “transformation and mobilisation” workshop with women who actively removed Charles Taylor from office!

Together with my More To Life colleagues for our annual get-together.

Over and above my coaching, I am accredited in Dr. Edward de Bono’s Six Thinking Hats and Power of Perception methodologies, the Enneagram Diagnostic tool for individuals and team coaching and I am a trained “More To Life” coach trained in a variety of courses i.e. Power of Self Esteem, Power of Purpose and Power of Connection.

I also serve on the “More To Life” National Board and International Council of Stewards.
